Last week, from 18 to 22 of January, European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) meeting of Electronic Communications Committee’s (ECC) Frequency Regulatory Working Group (WGFM) was held in Riga, its main objectives being to develop a strategy for future long-term spectrum use, to update and maintain the European frequency allocation table – the main strategic review document on the basic application of frequency bands in Europe, to promote coordinated use of spectrum in CEPT countries, to determine the frequency sharing conditions, as well as to prepare a common position of the CEPT countries for the World Radio Conference. In total, CEPT consists of communications administrations from 48 countries.
